Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has reportedly been arrested following a series of social media outbursts involving Pastor Chris Okafor.
The development comes after the actress publicly called on the Department of State Services (DSS) to investigate Pastor Okafor’s church altar, alleging that a death occurred during its construction.
The news of her reported arrest was disclosed by popular comedian Deeone via his Instagram page. In his post, Deeone claimed that Ogala’s allegations were unfounded and that she would now have to defend them in court.
“Doris Ogala has just been arrested. I tried to warn her, the allegations did not add up. Now, she will have to defend everything in court. Everywhere good, my people,” he wrote.
Doris Ogala and Pastor Chris Okafor have been in the public spotlight in recent weeks following a highly publicised dispute. The actress had alleged that the cleric promised to marry her but later got engaged to another woman, Pearl, whom he reportedly married on December 16, 2025.
Ogala claimed that her relationship with Okafor began in 2017 and said she is seeking ₦1 billion in damages for alleged breach of promise, emotional distress and reputational damage.
In addition to her claims about their relationship, Ogala also petitioned the DSS to investigate the church altar, citing concerns over an alleged death during its construction.
