Julius Berger Nigeria Plc has demonstrated its commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) by graduating 36 trainees from its 2025 Vocational Training Programme.
The trainees acquired skills in carpentry, masonry, and plumbing. Director of Administration, Dr. Abdulaziz Isa Kaita, emphasized that the programme is part of the company’s efforts to empower youth and contribute to sustainable development.
The trainees received Nigerian Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) Level 1 and 2 certifications, enhancing their employability and entrepreneurial potential. Expectedly, the programme will expand in 2026 to include electrical installation and solar technology, supported by a partnership with GIZ.
Julius Berger aims to scale the initiative, equipping more Nigerian youths with technical skills to contribute to the economy. The company’s Head of Human Resources, Olorunfemi Ojomo, reaffirmed the company’s focus on investing in human capital for national development and organisational excellence
