The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, on Friday attended the 38th General Church Council (GCC) Choir Sing-Song Service of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) held in Nyanya, Karu.
Expressing delight at being part of the spiritual gathering, Prof. Yilwatda commended the choir for their unwavering dedication and the profound spiritual impact of their ministry.
He emphasized the critical role of music in strengthening faith, promoting unity among believers, and inspiring hope within the church community.
“Music ministry remains a powerful tool in deepening our connection with God and fostering togetherness among the faithful,” the APC National Chairman said.
He also lauded the organisers for their commitment to sustaining the long-standing tradition of the GCC Choir Sing-Song Service.
In a show of support for the choir’s ongoing projects, Prof. Yilwatda announced a donation of ₦15 million, contributed by his friends.
The gesture, he said, reaffirms his commitment to faith-based initiatives that drive community development and spiritual growth.
The event attracted members of the COCIN community, who appreciated the chairman’s presence and support for the church’s music ministry.
