A House of Representatives aspirant for Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency, Hon. Gyang Dung Gyang (GDG), has stepped up grassroots consultations, meeting party stakeholders in Vwang District as part of preparations for upcoming elections.The consultative meeting, held at the Community Centre Hall in Vwang, brought together ward chairmen from Turu A, Turu B, Vwang, and Chugwi, reflecting local party engagement ahead of the 2026 local government and 2027 general elections.
Addressing attendees, Gyang thanked stakeholders for their turnout and support, describing the gathering as a sign of unity within the district. He reiterated his commitment to inclusive representation and a people-focused legislative agenda. “We are working towards strengthening our structures and building on the party’s foundation for future success,” he said.
Elder statesman Dara Ezekiel Choji, a former local government party chairmanship aspirant, told the meeting that the party remained organised and prepared for future contests. He encouraged members to maintain unity and focus on grassroots mobilisation.
Ward leaders present included Dung Mancha (Turu A), Francis Ishaya (Turu B), Dalyop Yakubu (Vwang), and Danladi Pam (Chugwi), who received the delegation.The meeting concluded with prayers offered by stakeholders for guidance and success in the political process.
