Ex-CBN Director lauds Federal, Lagos Govts’ efforts to contain COVID-19

Dr Titus Okunrounmu, a former Director, Budgetary Department, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), has lauded the Federal and State Government’s efforts to contain further spread of Coronavirus pandemic in the country.
Okunrounmu gave the commendation on Monday in an interview with Our Correspondent in Ota, Ogun.
The former CBN director said that the proactive steps and measures by the Federal and Lagos State Governments was a welcome development to contain the continuous spread of the COVID-19.
“I want to urge the Federal and State Governments to continue to embark on massive preventive measures to combat the deadly disease in the country,” he said.
Okunrounmu appealed to Nigerians to practice more hygiene and adhere strictly to the governments’ directives to contain the Coronavirus.
