The Sokoto state government has confirmed the appointment of Hon. Kadi Usman as the Grand Khadi of the Sokoto state Sharia Court alongside three others.
The State Legislatures at its sitting presided over by the Deputy Speaker Hon. Abubakar Magaji, confirmed the appointment.
Hon. Kadi Tambari Usman alongside three others were confirmed as the Grand khadi of the State Sharia Court of Appeal.
The others are Abdullahi Maccido Ahmad, Abdulkadir Sa’idu Tambuwal, CON and Barrister Abubakar Chika Sani as Permanent Members of State Judicial Service Commission.
This followed a request by the Executive Governor of the State Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal in compliance with the provisions of section 276 sub-section (I) of the 1999 constitution as amended.
