Market Women  Commend CBN governor over successful disbursement of COVID-19 facility

The Almagamated Market Women Associations, the nations most largest market union forum has commended the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Mr Godwin Emiefele and his  management team for effectively disbursing loan the COVID-19 facilities.
The group at a press conference on Monday in Lagos organized on the heels of the expanded civil society groups interactive session, said they were satisfied with the way and manner the leadership of the CBN has disbursed the COVID-19 household loans to Nigerians.
The president of the association, Mrs Vicky Oduma  said the easy accessibility of the facility without collateral is a high point for all Nigerians and President Buhari’s administration adding that it portends the hope that was promised ordinary Nigerians under the leadership of the apex bank.
Mrs Oduma  that  it was becoming clearer more than ever that an ordinary Nigerian can have the support of the government without having to worry on collaterals and bogus requirements stressing that this is the kind of things many had envisaged for the country.
“We  are glad that the Nigeria we all prayed for, where everyone can be carried along is being exemplified by the CBN Governor through the COVID-19  household loans”.
The groups expressed appreciation to President Buhari for providing an enabling environment for the CBN management to implement her set objectives without let or hindrance.
Drawing from the above encomiums poured on the CBN management, the convener of the expanded civil society interactive session, Dr Okon Amah further extolled the sterling virtues of the CBN Governor and expressed optimism that a lot more success will be achieved to the benefit of ordinary Nigerians.
Also speaking, the representative of the clergy, Bishop Joel Pampam  said only a responsible and responsive institution like the CBN would see a need to support ordinary Nigerians with loans to cushion the effect of COVID-19 pandemic without demanding for stringent collateral.
“We as clergy hereby express our great delight to President Buhari and the CBN leadership and will continue to pray for the promulgation of the best policies beneficial to ordinary Nigerians”, the clergy. maintained.
The groups further passed a vote of confidence on the CBN management and promised to prevail on their members who have benefited from the various COVID-19 household loans to make judicious use of it in other to justify the confidence of the apex bank on  ordinary Nigerians.
The groups unanimously passed a resolution to organise phased sensitisation workshops across the country to enlighten members on the need to make judicious use of the facilities and to stick to terms so as to encourage the Central Bank of Nigeria to do more in future
