NSSG to partner with Ultimate Health Maintenance Services to ensure health care Delivery in the state.

In a bid to reduce pain in accessing health care delivery in Nasarawa state the Ultimate Health Maintenance Services is in partnership with the Nasarawa state Social Health insurance scheme to assist both formal and informal sectors in the state.
The Managing director, Chief Executive, Mr. Lekan Ewenle Ultimate Health Management Services said the establishment is one of the accredited health organizations with the responsibility to regulate health insurance, enforce accreditation requirements and quality standards of health organizations in Nigeria.  
In a meeting with the private sectors in the state ranging from private school owners, market women, national Union of Road Transport Workers NURTW and others in the state held at Taal conference Hotel Lafia.
The CEO further said ‘there are three categories of health insurance organizations in Nigeria; the ultimate health falls within the national health maintenance organization’. 
Reacting to the collaboration with the Nasarawa state Health Insurance Scheme NASHIA and Nasarawa State government,  Ewenle said it is a function of the law by making health insurance mandatory at the state level, noting that the state government through the state health insurance agency has appointed ultimate health management services as the head to champion the program for five local government in the southern senatorial district of the state.                        He said the decision was taking because it is their responsibility as a private organization to work with the state to expand and deepen the scope and penetration by taking the bull by the horn.
He also clarifies the fact that the law establishing Health insurance scheme in 1999 when it started, saying that the formal sector is divided into two; the organized private sector and the private sector.
One of the participants, President, Market Women Association of Nasarawa State, Hadiza Sabo Jibrin, who could not hold back her joy disclosed that the drive by the Nasarawa State Government is Building Nigeria, and Nasarawa State adding that it is contributing to the development of the country. 
She also said the women are the ones suffering the most in financing health issues and this has come as a succor to all the women, stressing that the scheme is something to embrace.She urges all the women in the state to believe in it and work over it to have a healthy Nasarawa State.
