Governor Lalong Greets Former Military Governor Of Plateau State, Rear Admiral Atukum at 80


Governor Simon Bako Lalong has sent warm felicitations to former military Governor of Plateau State, Rear Admiral Samuel Bitrus Atukum on his 80th birthday. 
The Governor in a congratulatory message described Rear Admiral Atukum as a patriotic Nigerian who served the nation with zeal, dedication and loyalty throughout his military career in the navy.

Governor Lalong recalls that as Military Governor of Plateau State, Rear Admiral Atukum was known for discipline and leadership by example where he encouraged peaceful coexistence among all citizens. 

He also did a lot to promote the protection of the environment through planting of trees and reclamation of farmlands lost to mining activities. 

While wishing him more years of peace and good health, Governor Lalong prayed that God will continue bless Rear Admiral Atukum as he avails the nation his wealth of wisdom and experience.
