Alleged Kaduna sex party Hotel: Owner threatens court action for demolition

Kaduna state Governor Mallam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai has been accused of demolished a restaurant and bar, belonging to the wife of the spokesman of the people’s Democratic Party (PDP), Kaduna state, Mrs. Aishetu Mercy Yakubu. 

The restaurant, located off court road, Sabon Tasha, Kachia road, Kaduna was demolished to rubur by Kaduna state Urban Planning and Development Authority (KASUPDA), in company of two trucks loaded of police, on Thursday around 11am.

Spokesman of Kaduna state police Command Muhammad jalige, and his counterpart in KASUPDA could not respond when contacted, the restaurant owner however said he registered the restaurant with CAC, and showed evidence of registration.

But KASUPDA said the hotel was advertised in social Media platform for organizing sex party event, by the youth organizers. 

“Youths had advertised the event on social media platforms, revealing that the sex party was scheduled to hold on December 27, 2020 at an undisclosed location in the state capital.

Mrs Aishetu Yakubu who spoke to is side by side with the husband said she left the building few minutes before the incident occurred without any noticed, 

A social media reports said “The Kaduna State Urban Planning and Development Authority (KASUPDA) demolished Asher Hotel in Barnawa area of the state over the event”, over alleged plans to organize sex party, a development described as total false.

She said the have concluded plans to take  legal action against government over the demolition without notice as nothing property was removed from the restaurant.

Earlier, the Kaduna State Police Command had paraded some youths who were allegedly behind the aborted maiden edition of a sex party in the hotel. 

The youths, according to initiatial report, had advertised the event on social media platforms, revealing that the sex party was scheduled to hold on December 27, 2020 at an undisclosed location in the state capital.

The restaurant owner said they paid N500,000 annually as rent for the building to the landlord.

She also said she paid police and they tracks the social media poster was arrested who said it was pranks and confessed that he has never being or knows the restaurant.

According, to her two her staff were arrested on the allegation of sex party but we’re bailed December but rearrested on Thursday before the demolition took place.
