FEC Observes One Minute Silence For Lateef Jakande

Members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) on Wednesday observed a minute silence for the first Civilian Governor of Lagos State, Lateef Jakande.

The late Jakande died on February 11, 2021, at the age of 91.

The minute silence was observed shortly before the commencement of the weekly meeting holding at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The meeting which is being presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari has in attendance physically,  Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo; Secretary to the government of the federation, Boss Mustapha, and six ministers from the ministries of Water Resources, Women Affairs, Information, and culture; Works and Housing, FCT as well as Finance.
