Meghan Markle, Prince Harry welcomes baby boy.

Duke and duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan had a baby boy in the early hours of Monday and today, they have released the first images of their baby boy.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, held a photo call at their home in Windsor, Frogmore Cottage two days after the birth of their son, . Due to rain in Windsor, the couple walked through St. George’s Hall where their wedding reception was held last year.

“I have the two best guys in the world, so I’m really happy,” Meghan said. “He has the sweetest temperament. He’s really calm.”

The baby was born at 5:26 A.M. on Monday, weighing 7 pounds, 3 ounces, though the news of the birth—and the first public confirmation that Baby Sussex was a boy—did not come until nine hours later, through a post on the couple’s Instagram account.

The exact details of the birth have not been confirmed by the Palace, due to the couple’s desire for privacy, but reports Tuesday indicated that he was born at Portland, an upscale hospital in London.

His birth altered the British line of succession, and the baby is now seventh in line for the throne.
