Breaking: Bandits Attack Ex-Footballer, LG Chairman’s Family in Kaduna

Ex- footballer and former Kaduna north local government Chairman Hon. Sadiq Mamam Lagos and his family members have been reportedly attacked by Bandits.

A daughter and daughter-in-law reportedly sustained gunshots injuries during the Bandits attacks Friday night on Abuja- Kaduna highway .


Earlier, sources alleged that Mamam Lagos himself was injured in the night attack and was in admission in hospital.


Sadiq Mamman Lagos was however said not to be on admission but his daughter and daughter-in-law.


“He and his son escaped the bullets, they were at the front seat.
“The car was shot from behind, that’s why the occupants at the back seat were hit”, the sources said.


“I Just spoke with Mamman Lagos and confirm that it is his children but they are responding to treatment”, the source. added


Kaduna police spokesman Muhammed Jalige promised to get back when contacted.
