GOC Charges officers and Men on synergy with other Security agents.

General Officer Commanding 3 Division, Jos, Major General Nuhu Ambazau has charged Officers and Men of the Nigeria Army to synergized and work together with other Security agencies to ensure Peace and Security in Taraba State.

He gave the Charge during a breaking of Ramadan Fast organized in  20 Mechanized Battalion, SERTI, held at the newly Brigade Headquarters Complex in Jalingo, the state Capital.

Major General Nuhu Ambazau also urged the heads of security agencies in the state not to underscore the need to work together with their junior officers and men.

The General maintained that if they carried along their subordinates that will foster better and greater cooperation among them, especially now that kidnappings and communal clashes need to be addressed.

The GOC however, rated Taraba state as the best among the five states that cover 3 Division of the Nigeria Army in terms of working relationships with other Security Agencies.

Also speaking the Brigade Commander 23 Brigade Yola, Brigadier General Sani Garba Muhammad described the visit of the GOC as a blessing to the state.

In a remark on behalf of other Security Chiefs in the state, Taraba state Commissioner of Police in Taraba State reassured their commitments of maintaining the existing cordial relationship between them as security personnel in the state, while he thanked the Army for the gesture.

On his part, host of the occasion, Officer Commanding 20 Battalion, Serti, Lieutenant Colonel Muhammed Sani Adamu said the event was part of the civil-military CIMIC cooperation activities in an effort to uphold the visionary desire for CIMIC  by the Chief of Army staff in strengthening the existing cordial relationship with all stakeholders.

He explained that the event was designed to take place at  Sardauna, Gashaka and Jalingo LGA’s respectively for security agents, Traditional rulers, as well as other stakeholders within its operational area of responsibility.

Highlights of the were the calling of Ahzan and the performing of the mandatory three Raka’akat of Maghrib prayers.
