NOBA Spent Over N100m On Their Old School

Chairman of the ceremony, Alhaji Jelani Kalgo in his opening speech declared that many things has been happening in Nagarta Old Boys Association (NOBA) since the subsequent meetings.

He said the aim of NOBA towards bringing improvement was to bear on the welfare and the learning perspectives of Nagarta College,in facilitating services that generates ease to overall atmospheric condition of the college extremely valued and appreciated roles discharged by old students ,thus the wisdom behind diversification of ex-students devotional moves.

He added that the meeting of the Board of Trustees and EXCO members was the issue of chapters which was extensively digested, with a view to widening awareness and scoping spread of ex-students across the States and globally.

Another aim was promoting affairs of Nagarta college which would continue to usher sustainability in enriching NOBA’s transformational divine mission of the college and congratulate all for individual and collective contributions

While enumerating achievements recorded by the chapter,the National President Alhaji Sank Musa said structures were constructed while others were renovated with the money realized from the subsequent meetings which amounted to over N100n in the first, second and third phases.

He said though it is the responsibility of the state government, they felt to contribute towards the development of education of their old school which will be beneficial to their grandchildren and beyond.

Some of the activities executed during the meeting included presentation of reviewed constitution of the NOBA.

The constitution declared that chapters should now be addressed as sets.
