…as contractor reactivated borehole as part of corporate responsibility
Executive Chairman of the board Alhaji Altine Shehu Kajiji gave the pass mark today shortly after he inspected the renovated hostel.
Kajiji said he is highly impressed with the quality work executed by the contractor Alhaji Mu’azu Zabira and urged him to maintain the tempo.
The Executive Chairman also appreciated the contractor’s effort in reactivating the school’s borehole as corporate social responsibility.
Earlier, the Permanent Secretary of the board Alhaji Ahmed Rufa’i Ibrahim told the SUBEB Chairman that the contract was awarded to Alhaji Mu’azu Zabira in consideration of his track record of ensuring quality work in all the contract awarded to him.
He noted that the renovation work was 100% compl despite the fact that the contractor was yet to receive any amount from government.
In another development the board has pledged to renovate a block of classrooms gutted by fire some years ago at Magajin Rafi Model Primary School.
SUBEB Chairman, Alhaji Altine Shehu Kajiji made the pledge after he was taken round the dilapidated block of classrooms by the Education Secretary of sokoto south LGEA shortly after he commissioned a block of classrooms renovated by Zenith Bank plc.
The inspection visit was witnessed by all the Permanent Members and Directors of the board.
