“Abia Government Initiates Private School Accreditation and Enforcement Measures – Commissioner’s Update”

Abia State Government has initiated the reaccreditation process for private schools within the state to ensure compliance with operational standards. Commissioner for Information and Culture, Prince Okey Kanu, announced the commencement of this effort, along with the establishment of an enforcement team for order compliance. The Commissioner also discussed ongoing reforms in the education and health sectors, as well as plans for Aba’s rejuvenation and waste management improvements. Additionally, he addressed a court injunction that restricted the Judicial Panel of Inquiry, labeling it as undue interference in the previous administration.”
