“We, the Chairmen of the 23 local government chapters of the Àll Progressives Congress APC in Sokoto State declared that the authentic, elected Chairmen of the APC Congresses in Sokoto State, conducted on the 4th of September, 2021 was duly acclaimed and declared as very successful by the National Caretaker and Extra Ordinary Convention Planning Committee”, averred Secretary of the Association, Alhaji Almu Kwandawa while addressing newsmen at the party headquarters along Rijia Dorawa road.
Consequent upon this, Kwandawa who spoke for the 23 Chairmen said they were inaugurated, following a written directive by the National Caretaker and Extra Ordinary Convention Planning Committee.
According to him they are the legal representatives of the Àll Progressives Congress and its supporters in their various local government areas.
” We took part in the Sokoto State APC Congress held on the 8th of November 2021, at the Sokoto State APC Secretariat, which elected Isah Sadiq Acida as the authentic, elected Sokoto State APC Chairman and recognized Senator Wamakko as Leader of the Àll Progressives Congress APC in Sokoto State”.
He called on political intruders like Abubakar Malami, the Minister of Justice who has overstepped his bounds, to steer clear of the Sokoto State APC and concentrate on repairing the damages he has inflicted on the APC in Kebbi State.
Kwandawa then appealed for good judgement from the National Caretaker and Extra Ordinary Convention Planning Committee, under the Chairmanship of Governor Mai Mala Buni to recognize Isah Sadiq Achida led State Executive as duly elected and put necessary machinery in motion for its inauguration by National Caretaker Committee Chairman.
