The Acting Executive Chairman, Benue State Internal Revenue Service, BIRS, Mr Emmanuel Agema, has felicitated with the Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia, and the people of the state on the occasion of Democracy Day Anniversary.
Mr Agema who noted that Democracy Day is a day to commemorate the restoration of democracy in Nigeria, expressed optimism that the nation and Benue State in particular will experience rapid growth both economically and otherwise, thereby lifting people of the state out of poverty line.
The Chairman applauds Governor Alia, for upholding the principles of democracy and bringing the dividends of democracy to people of the state through his people oriented projects, policies and programs.
The Tax Boss lauds the Governor over his unwavering commitment in respecting the fundamental rights of Benue citizens and promoting freedom of human beings.
He commended Nigerians, particularly, people of Benue State, for upholding the tenets of democracy and obeying the rule of law, even during difficult times, and calls on them to sustain it.
He Implored people of Benue State to rally round the whom he said is desirous of turning things around in the state for the benefit of all and sundry.
