APC commends Gov Sule peace building initiative in Nasarawa

The All Progressive Congress (APC) Nasarawa State Chapter has commended the leadership style of Gov. Abdullahi Sule and his commitment to inclusivity and peace building initiative in the state.

APC said Gov Sule’s developmental strides has attracted several new members to the party as evident in the mass defection of prominent political leaders and their followers from rival political parties who came out in large numbers for the ongoing party registration and revalidation exercise in the state.

This is contain in a communique from extraordinary executive meeting of the working committee members alongside the Local Government Area Chairmen and their respective Secretary issued by Otaru Douglas, state publicity secretary and made available to newsmen on Friday in Lafia.

According to the communique, the meeting is part of the party’s determination to reappraise and evaluate its ongoing membership registration and revalidation exercise to enable the party take interim report from the various local Government Area in a bid to strengthen the entire process.

The party said despite the shortage of some sensitive materials at polling units in the cause of the exercise, the exercise in the state has been a huge success considering the massive turnout and the impressive support from stakeholders.

“Going forward, the party will improve measures to sustain the exercise while awaiting the distribution of additional materials from the national Secretariat for the continuation of the exercise,” the Communique read.

It has expressed gratitude to its critical stakeholders across the local government areas for their tremendous support towards the success of the registration exercise in the state.

The party therefore encouraged its teaming members to be patient and keep faith with the process of building a virile and people’s centered political party.
