APC Ready to Collaborate with PDP After Kaduna LG Elections

By  Milcah   Tanimu

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State has offered to collaborate with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after securing all 23 chairmanship and 255 councilorship positions in the recent local government elections held on October 19, 2024. Despite PDP’s disagreement with the election results, APC declared the process fair, credible, and transparent.

In a statement, APC urged PDP to accept the results and join hands to ensure the growth and development of Kaduna’s local governments. The party emphasized its willingness to work with progressive members from all parties for the betterment of the state.

The statement from APC Publicity Secretary, Salisu Tanko Wusono, highlighted the election victory as a mandate to expand Governor Uba Sani’s Rural Transformation Agenda. APC called on newly elected officials to focus on service, accountability, and development, while addressing key challenges like healthcare, education, and security in their communities.

APC also expressed gratitude to the Kaduna electorate for their support and promised to continue working towards a prosperous and united Kaduna State.
