Banner Unveiled for Mr. Ibu’s Funeral Arrangements

The funeral arrangement banner for the late veteran actor, John Ikechukwu Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu, has surfaced online.

According to reports, the beloved actor passed away on March 2, 2024, following a prolonged health battle and the subsequent amputation of his leg. He was 63 years old.

Mr. Ibu’s final resting place will be in his hometown of Amuri, located in the Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State, as announced by his family on April 13.

A unique procession between Nollywood and Rangers International is scheduled for Tuesday, June 25, 2024. The following day, Mr. Ibu’s Candlelight Procession will take place.

On June 27, a Christian wake service will be held at Eziokwe Amuri, Enugu State. Subsequently, his body will be conveyed from the Eastern Nigerian Medical Center to his birthplace for burial.
