Barcelona Defeats Athletic Club 2-0 to Reach Supercopa Final

Barcelona triumphed over Athletic Club with a commanding 2-0 victory in the Spanish Supercopa semifinal held in Jeddah. The match saw early dominance, with Gavi scoring in the 17th minute and rising star Lamine Yamal doubling the lead in the 52nd minute.

Athletic Club pushed for a comeback but had two late goals disallowed. Despite the pressure, Barcelona’s defense remained solid, ensuring their progression.

The Catalan giants now await their opponent in the final, set to face the winner of Real Madrid vs. Mallorca. The decisive game will take place on Sunday, promising another thrilling encounter.
