BBNaija’s Phyna Responds to Davido’s Fans, but Tempers Flare

By Daniel Edu

Reality TV star Phyna recently took to her Twitter account to address members of the 30 Billion Gang (30BG) and, in the process, drew singer Davido into the mix, humorously calling him the “father of all nations.”

In a tweet, Phyna expressed her frustration with the unnecessary death threats from the singer’s fans and told them to leave her alone. However, she later deleted the tweet after facing backlash.

Her original tweet read, “30BG or whatever they call you, leave my DM alone and address the ‘father of all nations.’ I don’t need your favorite person to know me, and I’m not here to seek his attention. You all can move on now, market people. What’s with the flood of death threats in my DMs today, do you all want to go to war or something?”

Phyna’s deleted tweet received attention on social media, but she later claimed that some screenshots circulating online were fabricated. These screenshots appeared to show her criticizing Davido, accusing him of chasing fake clout and behaving childishly despite approaching 40 years of age.

The online exchange began when Davido liked a tweet from someone shading Phyna. Confused by this, Phyna confronted him, pointing out that she often faces unwarranted hate.

Davido responded with an apology, explaining that he accidentally liked the tweet and added that he didn’t know who she was. This interaction led to Twitter users mocking Phyna, and she spent the subsequent time defending herself on the platform, addressing false reports, and urging everyone to remain calm.
