Beatrice Ekweremadu Released from UK Prison

Mrs. Beatrice Ekweremadu, the wife of former Deputy Senate President Senator Ike Ekweremadu, has been released from a United Kingdom prison.

Sources confirmed that Beatrice, who was sentenced to five years in the UK, returned to Nigeria on Tuesday and is currently in Abuja.

Celebrations are reportedly ongoing at her family home in the Mpu community of Aninri Local Government Area in Enugu State.
