The national working committee (nwc) of the all progressives congress (apc) has inaugurated a seven member committee for the benue state chapter of the party following the dissolution of the state executive committee, sec, with benjamin omale as chairman.
Others are; prof bem angwe, state caretaker secretary, hon richard mzungweve, hon james ornguga, hon barr terhemen ngbea, hon helen agaigbe and barr ali as members.
The committee, which was inaugurated by the national chairman of apc, dr abdullahi umar ganduje, at the party’s national secretariat in abuja on wednesday will serve for the period of six months.
It could be recalled that the all progressives congress, apc, benue state chapter, has been enmeshed in crisis for more than one year, leading to two factions, the one led by mr agada, which was loyal to the secretary to the government of the federation,sgf, sen. George akume, and the other led by mr omakole, which was loyal to the benue state governor, rev fr hyacinth alia.
