BREAKING: Fire Breaks Out at Katsina Government House

A fire broke out early Monday morning at the Katsina State Government House in Katsina. The cause of the blaze has not yet been determined.

According to Alhaji Bashir, a resident living near the Government House, the fire started around 6 a.m. “I saw a fire service truck rushing in. I was at home after morning prayers when a fire truck sped into the Government House. I later learned that there was a fire in the red chamber where Governor Dikko usually hosts guests,” Bashir said.

Attempts to reach the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ibrahim Mohammed, for comment have been unsuccessful as he has not responded to calls.
