President Bola Tinubu is presently engaged in a confidential meeting with Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. Governor Fubara arrived at the Presidential Villa around 5.40 pm on Thursday and proceeded directly to the President’s office, where the meeting is currently underway in private.
The purpose of this visit remains undisclosed at the time of this report. Notably, this marks Governor Fubara’s initial visit to the Presidential Villa since the signing of the eight-point agreement, a resolution facilitated by Tinubu to address the dispute between the governor and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.
