BREAKING: Police take over Edo Assembly complex

In what appears to be signs of what to expect in the September governorship election in Edo state, hundreds of officers and men of the Nigeria police have taken over the state’s House of Assembly complex, placing it under lock and key.

We are yet to get an official response from Police authorities in Abuja why the action was taken but would report it when it becomes clear.
