BREAKING: Volunteer security men kill 4 innocent Fulani herdsmen in Zamfara.

From Abba Kabara, Gusau.

Some overzealous volunteer security men (Yan Sakai) have over the weekend attacked and killed four innocent Fulani herdsmen in Bawa Ganga village of Tsafe local government.

Those killed include Abubakar Buda, Halilu Buda, Tukur Buda all brothers of the same father and one Ilya Duma.

It would be recalled that a few days ago, Governor Abdulaziz Yari announced an executive order to recruit 8500 volunteer security men to assist in fighting the challenge of killer bandits across the state.

NIGERIAN PILOT reliably learnt that, immediately after the recruitment order announced by the governor, many of the volunteers begun to act ahead of their formal engagement and take up their matches and other similar weapons and swung into action.

A close relation to the deceased Mallam Lawali Madaha who talked to this medium narrates that the deceased were driving their cattle back home from Dajin Magami where they spent the usual one year annual grazing period.

He said at a location along their route called Bawa Ganga, the deceased met their fate when a group of such volunteers suddenly appeared in fierce attack and killed all the of them, leaving the cows stranded.

He expressed his deep regret that up to this moment, apart from participating in the collection of the deceased bodies to their community for burial, “there is still no any show of concern from either the security agents or the state government”, he laments.

Several phone calls to get the police comment from the command’s spokesman SP Shehu Muhammed did not yield result.
