CAN leaders visit COZA, declares support for Biodun Fatoyinbo

The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has pledged their support for COZA pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo, who is currently being accused of rape.

Recall that singer Timi Dakolo’s wife, Busola Dakolo, in an interview accused the pastor of rape which she said occured multiple times 20 years ago.

Her interview led to a protest which forced Biodun Fatoyinbo to step aside as COZA pastor.

However, during the Sunday service of the Church on July 14th, two CAN leaders where present to show their support for the embattled pastor and the church. They include the president of CAN Abuja, Reverend Jonah Samson and CAN President North Central, Reverend Israel Akanji.

Delivering a speech, Reverend Jonah stated that CAN are fully behind Biodun Fatoyinbo.

”I assure you that we are with you and we will continue to be with you. We are in support of the church. We are in support of your pastor. We stand by him. and this church will continue to match forward. The I declare that the gates of hell shall not prevail against this church in the mighty name of Jesus” Reverend Jonah said.
