CIPP Organised One Day Neighborhood Peace Promotion Workshop In Kano

Community Initiative To Promote Peace (CIPP) has organised a one day peace Promotion Workshop to selected women groups in Kano where lasting measures that would leads to peaceful coexistence in the neighborhood were enumerated.

The colourful event was held at girls secondary school Badawa in Kano metropolis under the leadership of Hajiya Zainab Ali Musa, where the gathering brought out the cause of violence in the society especially in communities with higher populations.

Speaking at the workshop, the team leader Hajiya Zainab Ali Musa told the women groups that they were at Badawa to deliver a special message about the needs to ensure that peace and loving one another reigns in the societies especially at present when the population is rapidly increasing.

She added that ” we are here to enlighten the public especially mothers about the needs to ensure that our children remained law abiding citizens in our communities as the situation in which we are living is facing many challenges like what we are witnessing at present”.

Zainab Ali Musa disclosed that ” CIPP is working day and night to ensure that there is peace and unity in our societies, communities and neighborhoods where women as mothers must be brought into the programmes because mothers are important figures in the successful implementation of all peace Promotion projects”. She lamented.

Other speakers include Hajiya Aisha Badawa and Madam Charity Mathew where they promised to work selflessy in taking the mission into their respective communities, while at the end of the workshop, some cause of violence were enumerated which includes drug abuse, poverty and having many out of school kids.
