The Coalition of United Political Parties, CUPP, in Taraba state, have declared their support to the reelection bid of Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku of PDP in Jalingo.
Spokesman of CUPP Kabiru Bala said they arrived at the choice of Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku to be reelected PDP as Governor of the state after wide consultations, permutations and ratings of the various gubernatorial candidates.
Kabiru Bala urged electorate to vote a calm, visionary and focus leader with a sound mental template which Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku has.
Bala who is a gubernatorial candidate of the APN emphasized on their resolutions to massively vote for the PDP Governor and charged Tarabans to be wary of politicians who want power at all cost for selfish reasons.
The Coalition of United Party CUP comprises of ACPN, LABOUR PARTY, A.A, PPA, PPN, PRP, APP, ZLP, APGA, YPN GPN and others.
Reacting, Governor Darius Dickson Ishuku thanked them for endorsing him for the second term after realizing that he has good intentions for the good people of the state and affirmed his resolve to carry everybody along in his administration.
Ishaku urged them to always stand by the truth and ensure that they protect their vote during the general elections.
The Governor charged the Political parties not to panic in carrying out lawful activities during the electioneering period but to be resolute to vote credible leaders that have the capacity to bring development closer to the people.
Memoranda of understanding was signed during the visit where CUP declared their support towards the reelection bid of Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku.
Meanwhile Yoruba Communities residing in Taraba have also endorsed Governor Ishaku for the second term following the governors numerous developmental initiatives in the state.
Spokesman of the Groups Gabriel Olayinka applauded the governor for his efforts at rescuing the education and other sectors of economy in the state.
He pledged the communities stance to vote massively for Governor Ishaku for the sake of peace and continious transformation of the state.
