Some members of the public who were at the Benue State House of Assembly on Wednesday to listen to proceedings were disappointed as the Legislators failed to hold plenary.
Checks by Day Break indicated that members of the Benue State House of Assembly who returned from Turkey after a capacity workshop are currently in Self Isolation to comply with the Covid-19 precautionary measures as pronounced by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control ( NCDC).
A regular visitor to the aforesaid assembly, Hon. Donga Abaver called on members of the 9th assembly to settle down and ensure quality legislation that would impact the lives of the Benue masses.
The last sitting of the Benue Lawmakers was on the 5th of January, 2021 before they traveled outside the country.
Efforts to contact the Speaker of the House, Mr. Titus Uba for comment as at the time of filing this report failed as he was said to be out of office.
