Customs Sets October 2 for Online Test of Superintendent Cadre Applicants

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has scheduled the online recruitment test for shortlisted applicants into the Superintendent Cadre for Thursday, October 2, 2025.

In a statement released via its official X handle on Monday, the Service announced that candidates have been divided into three batches — A, B, and C.

“All shortlisted Superintendent Cadre candidates should log in with their NIN at https://updates.customs.gov.ng to check their batch, date, and time,” the statement read.

The Service emphasized that strict adherence to assigned batch and time is compulsory. Any candidate who fails to sit for the exam within the allotted schedule will be disqualified.

Exam Guidelines

The Customs Service also outlined rules for the online test:

  • Use of calculators or other devices is strictly prohibited.
  • Indiscriminate log-ins or switching browser windows during the test could result in candidates being locked out.

NCS further clarified that the ongoing process applies only to Superintendent Cadre applicants. Candidates in the Inspectorate and Assistant Cadres will be contacted later for their pre-test and online test phases.

“Inspectorate & Assistant Cadre applicants should NOT log in at this stage,” the Service warned.

This development comes after Superintendent Cadre candidates completed their pre-test exercises over the weekend, paving the way for the full-scale online test next week.
