Daddy Freeze Criticizes Apostle Selman for Alleged Failure to Raise the Dead

Media personality Daddy Freeze has taken aim at Apostle Joshua Selman, the leader of Eternity Network International, accusing him of failing to perform a miracle by raising the dead. In a resurfaced clip, Apostle Selman shared an experience of being locked in a mortuary but unable to revive the deceased despite quoting scriptures. Selman explained it as a growth process, emphasizing that facing disappointment tests one’s faith in God.

Daddy Freeze responded critically, questioning whether one would accept such an excuse from doctors or pilots. He pointed out that many celebrities had died recently, and according to Freeze, the pastor couldn’t raise any of them. Freeze challenged the defense of failure, asking how one could bravely justify such shortcomings.

This exchange comes shortly after Bambam, a former Big Brother Naija contestant, lectured Daddy Freeze on his statements criticizing God. Freeze had expressed reasons for not serving a God he referred to as ‘god,’ citing various issues. Bambam, using biblical references, emphasized the need for physical vessels to work with God in performing miracles, urging Freeze to take responsibility for our purpose on earth.

In a previous incident, Daddy Freeze had criticized religious leaders for their silence regarding a Big Brother Naija winner’s promise to pay a significant tithe from her prize money. Freeze highlighted the hypocrisy of religious leaders, quick to condemn the reality show but silent on the tithe promise.”
