Davido’s Manager Addresses Lack of Collaborations with Wizkid and Burna Boy

During a recent appearance on the Ventes Rap show, Asa Asika, the manager of superstar Davido, shed light on why his artist is yet to collaborate with Burna Boy and Wizkid on a song.

In response to a direct question about Davido’s apparent absence from musical collaborations with industry heavyweights like Wizkid and Burna Boy, Asika tactfully steered the conversation towards the collaborative efforts of other prominent musicians.

He pointed out that Wizkid and Burna Boy have collaborated on a song, while Davido has worked with Kizz Daniel. Asika highlighted the synergy and interconnectedness within the music industry, citing his partnership with Davido as an example.

He emphasized that collaborations are prevalent among big artists in Nigeria, citing examples such as Davido and Olamide, as well as Asake’s appearance on Davido’s album. Asika noted that while collaborations may not happen as frequently, they play a significant role in propelling Afrobeats to its current position.
