Nigerian journalist and prominent figure in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dele Momodu, has responded to a curious follower’s question about why he did not “fall under anointing” during a church service. On July 23, 2023, Momodu visited the Synagogue Church of All Nations, led by Prophetess Evelyn, the wife of the late renowned televangelist, T.B Joshua.
In a show of support and admiration for the efforts in continuing T.B Joshua’s spiritual work, Dele Momodu shared a video of the church service on his Instagram page. During the service, Prophetess Evelyn prayed for and laid her hands on Momodu.
In response to the follower’s query, Dele Momodu calmly explained that he did not experience the phenomenon of falling under the anointing during the prayer because he firmly believes that God is his shield and protector. His faith and relationship with God are strong, and he did not feel the need to manifest in that particular way during the spiritual encounter.
The Synagogue Church of All Nations remains committed to carrying on the legacy of T.B Joshua, and Dele Momodu’s visit stands as a testament to the impact of his work. As a notable figure in the PDP, Momodu’s support holds significance within the church community and beyond.
