Destiny Etiko Moved to Tears by Senator Ita Giwa’s Gesture

Nollywood actress and film producer Destiny Etiko found herself in tears due to a touching gesture from Senator Ita Giwa. The Senator extended a special invitation to Destiny to attend the Calabar Carnival in Calabar, and the actress shared a video capturing her arrival in the state, meeting Senator Giwa, and enjoying a sumptuous meal.

In her caption, Destiny expressed deep gratitude for the love showered on her by Senator Giwa and conveyed her excitement about attending the carnival.

“Senator Itagiwa @therealitagiwa called and I answered. Thanks for all the love you have showered on me, mami. I feel like crying. I am here in Calabar for CALABAR CARNIVAL, and of course, I believe it’s gonna be beautiful. Can’t wait to experience it. See you guys tomorrow, my CALABAR FANS.”

Previously, Destiny had praised her senior colleague Toyin Abraham as a great inspiration, expressing her admiration for Toyin’s accomplishments and congratulating her on her new project.

Last month, Destiny reflected on her journey, sharing that she earned less than N100k when she began acting, emphasizing her passion for the craft and determination not to give up. She also advised junior colleagues to show respect to their senior counterparts in the entertainment industry, emphasizing its importance for aspiring A-list status.
