DJ Cuppy joins the Black Lives Matter protest

DJ Cuppy has taken to the streets in the UK in protests against the racial injustices suffered by blacks all over the world.

She joined the Black Lives Matter group in protest after George Floyd was brutally killed while getting arrested by cops in Minnesota.

DJ Cuppy stated that she won’t have been able to live with herself had it been she didn’t lend support to the campaign against racism.

She shared a picture showing her at the protest ground and with a face mask on.

She wrote: “I honestly thought of so many reasons to not protest, but the truth is I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if I didn’t go and support! Isaiah 1:17. Straight after my radio show today, I joined my brothers and sisters who are protesting against racial injustice faced by black people globally. I’m also taking this moment to stand against gender-based violence and sexual assault taking place in Nigeria. Together we MUST do better #BlackLivesMatter #SayNoToRape”.

Her participation comes just days after her rumoured boyfriend, World Heavyweight Boxing Champion, Anthony Joshua, was spotted alongside some Black Lives Matter protesters.
