El-Rufai: Kaduna High Court Orders Arrest Of CCB Chairman

The Kaduna State High Court has issued arrest warrant against the chairman of Code of Conduct Bureau, CCB, Abuja, for contempt of court in suit No: KDH/KAD/286/2015. The suit is between Mallam Nasir el-Rufai and Today’s Publishing Company Limited, publishers of
The Union newspapers.

El-Rufai had sued The Union claiming the newspaper made false publication about his asset declaration.

The warrant, obtained by Correspondent was issued Friday by Hon. Justice Mairo Mohammed, of court 2, sitting in Kaduna. The CCB Chairman had failed to honour different summonses of the Court.

The matter is further adjourned to February 13, 2019. The court called on all police personnel and authorities to effect the arrest.
