Embrace Mass Metering To Enable Efficient Energy Measurement – KEDCO

Kano electricity distribution company, KEDCO has advised it’s teaming consumers to embrace mass metering in order to have adequate energy measurement especially at present when the company is working day and night towards customers satisfaction in power supply.

The company made the call in a statement signed and issued to Daybreak News by the head of corporate communication, Malam Ibrahim Sani Shawai, adding that since the mass metering was inaugurated, it is advisable to consumers to embrace the programme for excellent services at Kano, Jigawa and Katsina states respectively.

The statement further stated that ” the mass metering programme is a collaboration between the federal government and the kano electricity distribution company, therefore it would help in bridging the gap between the company and customers in the issue of billing which is a landmark achievements as seen” according to the statement.

Furthermore, the company discloses that over 8, 700 meters were installed to customers all free of charge, while subsequent phases would commence after the zero phase meters were exhausted, where the company’s chief executive officer Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna hoped that the people would embrace the mass metering programme in order to ensure efficiency.
