BY Jennifer Y Omiloli

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has allegedly affirmed the arrival of agents of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Nigeria.

It was affirmed by Tony Orilade, the representative of the anti-corruption agency.

This was uncovered after a joint activity by the two offices that brought about the capture of 30 presumed web fraudsters in Owerri Imo state.

The FBI was aided in the operation by agents of the EFCC from its south east zonal office in Enugu state.

The operation allegedly occurred on Friday, August 30 after the entry of the operators the previous day.

The investigators swooped in on the suspects in the early hours of the morning and captured the web tricksters.

Things recouped from them included PCs, fascinating vehicles and telephones.
