Firm Distributes 130 bags of rice to Benue Community

Pure Biotech Company Limited producers of ethanol have distributed rice to the flood-ridden Angbaaye Community to support them after their communal crisis.

Performing the ceremony on Thursday at NKST Church Bezu, Angbaaye, its Communication and Public Relations Manager, Mr. Stephen Numbeve said they were on a thank you visit.

Number explained that since the company acquired the land during the communal crisis and was closely followed by flood disaster it was expedited for the6 management to support them.

He said the management understood the challenges faced I people during and after such challenges and decided to support them.

“The management felt that because of the recent crisis and subsequent flood disaster you may be going through a lot report challenges and have decided to support you with 130 bags of rice.

“As you, all know this is a new company that started last year but we understand the challenges of our host community after this disaster that is why we are here today to see you and extend our small support”.

He further explained that the land hosting the company was purchased fromt individuals with the knowledge of the relevant authorities.

Speaking during the ceremony, Executive Chairman, Makurditg Local Government, Mrs. Eunice Torbunde urged the people to embrace peace and remain united adding that with unity everything was possible.

Torbunde further charged them to protect the company as their property as it was one of the pathways for development in the area.

In his remarks, Ter Makurdi, HRH Vincent Ahule said the community needed unity and peace for development to strive.

Also speaking for Mbawa and Ipusu, Mr. Christopher Nyityo and Mr. Terfa Gbam all commended the company for their show of love and urged them to do more.

They also urged the company to employ more indigenes of the company
