Former Amaxy Express GM, Frank Preye Samuel Bags BAMA Awards

The former General Manager of Amaxy Express and now Prince Line Motors, Comrade Frank Preye Samuel has been conferred with the Most Outstanding Transport Administrator of the Year Award by Bayelsa Merit And Enterprise Award.

Presenting the award to Comrade Frank Preye Samuel at the conference hall of Marvis Lord’s Hotel, Etegwe in Yenagoa, the Interim Chairman, Comrade Andrew D.Okongu described the awardee as a man with the midas touch noted for doing things differently to achieve results. He said Comrade Frank Preye Samuel is not given to joining the bandwagon which he noted is the group of failures.

The interim chairman noted that the award recipient has grown businesses over the years and deserved the award. He stated that the choice of the awardee was well made and was given at the right time

The Publicity Secretary of BAMA, Elliot Zaminidei of the Niger Delta Herald said the choice of the awardee was reached by the board of assessors in recognition of his dedication, hardwork distinguished service and contributions to the development of transport business in Nigeria.

Receiving the award, Comrade Frank Preye Samuel expressed gratitude to God for the gift of life and thanked former Lawmaker, Hon. Amakiri Samson Etebu for appointing him as a Legislative Aide and also General Manager of Amaxy Express which created the enabling environment for him to move over to Prince line to excel in the motor transport business.
Comrade Frank Preye Samuel, a graduate of Business Management from University of Calabar and also a trained teacher working with the Post Primary Schools Board, Bayelsa State said the award will spur him to work hard to offer better quality service in the road transport business and thanked BAMA for considering him worthy of the award

He thanked his wife, particularly Hon. Preye Ozori,family members, colleagues in the transport business, supervisors of the Prosperity Transport Scheme for their support that have enabled him to break new grounds and advised Bayelsans to come into the transport bus to improve the sector.

Reverend(Dr.) Tony Prefa, Chairman Chartered Institute of Transport Administrators of Nigeria, Hon.Preye Ozori, Simon Ogoriba, Johnny Otuedo, Dr.Godspower Onyeindenyifa, Tobopere Simeon in their separate solidarity speeches described the awardee as a humble, honest, amiable, a man with a grateful heart and very accessible, who have made the people of Bayelsa State proud for effectively navigating the businesses he has handled to compete favourably with well established transport companies.

Mr. Onyinkuro Samuel Frank while speaking on behalf of the family said the awardee has been playing the big brother role in the family, a pathfinder, a leader and thanked BAMA for considering his elder brother worthy of the award.
