Gov Lalong commisions projects by Langtang North Council boss, Hon Zulfa

Ahead of his handover come May 29th 2023, the Plateau State Governor Bar Simon Lalong yesterday stirred celebration across Langtang North local government council of the State as he simultaneously commissioned massive development projects executed by the Executive Chairman of Langtang North local government council of the State, Bar Zulfa Bitrus Rimven.

Our correspondent reports that most of the projects were sited in the council headquarters as well as rural areas of Langtang North local government council of the State.

The Executive Chairman of the Council Bar Zulfa who spoke at the occasion while appreciating the Executive Governor for his support, stressed that without Governor Lalong he would not have achieved the milestone achievements.

Zulfa said he is determined to better the lives of citizens of the local government as well as create good and enabling working environment to Staff of the council.

The Council boss further added that so far in less than two years in office , he has executed 11 physical projects ranging from construction of 4 blocks of classrooms in Kullok (Warok ward), Nimcir (Pil Gani ward), Jidadi and Central Primary School Langtang as well as several others.

In his words “We were able to rehabilitate the Department of Agric Works and several Primary Health Care centers in the council.”

Zulfa said “With the support of people of the council, we were able to renovate the Administration block and 6 Classrooms at Nimbar Secondary School in Langtang as well as fencing of the Police Station in Langtang North.”

“We also remodeled some Motor Parks and a Market in Langtang as well as Construction of New Motor Park at Pajat.”

Zulfa added that we Constructed two Box Culvert and a Dual Cell Culvert all at Tippang community in the LGA as well as the drilling of 11 Hand pump Boreholes across communities in Langtang North.

According to him, “We Constructed a Police out post at Lyanjit community of Langtang North local government council of the State.”

Governor Lalong while commissioning the Projects, appreciated Hon Zulfa for keying into the Agenda of the Rescue Administration.

He lauded the council boss for bringing dividends of democracy to the people of the council.

The governor appreciated the support and enthusiasm of the people of the state, who trooped out in their numbers to witness the events and thanked them for their support.

Our correspondent reports that the occasion was graced by The Head of Civil Service Plateau State, Sunday Yat, Commissioner for Housing Hon. Brain Dadi, Langtang North, Legislators, Civil Servants, Party Faithfuls as well as the good citizens of Langtang North.

The event also drew praises from members of Langtang North who eulogized Governor Lalong and the Council boss Bar Zulfa Bitrus Rimven for their vision in bringing development to their areas and giving them a sense of belonging.
