The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Plateau State on Middle-Belt Ethnic Nationalities, Hon. Dan Kwada, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the Ngas Nation following the passing of Her Majesty, Esther Golit, wife of the Ngolong Ngas, Nde Jika Golit.
In a press statement issued in Jos on Saturday, Hon. Kwada extended his sympathy to the Ngas Paramount Ruler and the entire Ngas-speaking community, describing the late matriarch as a remarkable woman whose contributions to the Ngas Nation, Plateau State, and the broader Middle-Belt region will remain unforgettable.
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of this extraordinary woman,” the statement read. “Her Majesty’s wisdom, kindness, and generosity touched countless lives. Her legacy will continue to serve as a beacon of strength and inspiration for her people.”
Hon. Kwada emphasized that while the loss is profound, the cherished memories of Her Majesty’s remarkable life and devotion to her people will provide solace during this challenging time.
“As we mourn her passing, we find comfort in the knowledge that her memory will live on through the countless lives she impacted. Her unwavering commitment to her community, her wisdom, and her selflessness will continue to guide and inspire us,” he added.
The aide urged the Ngas Nation to remain united and draw strength from the fond memories of Her Majesty’s life. He also prayed for divine fortitude for the community to bear the loss, adding, “May her soul rest in perfect peace.”
Hon. Kwada concluded by extending the condolences of the Plateau State Government and reaffirming its solidarity with the Ngas Nation during this period of mourning.
