Gov Obaseki sacks acting VC Ambrose Alli University

The Governor of Edo state, Godwin Obaseki has fired the acting vice chancellor of the Ambrose Alli University.

The sack which takes effect from 8th February 2022 was announced in a release signed by the state governor himself and made available through his verified face book account.

The statement reads as follows:

“I have, in the exercise of my powers under the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma Law and the Special Intervention Law, 2021, has relieved Professor B.O. Osadolor of his appointment as Acting Vice- Chancellor of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma with effect from Tuesday, 8th February, 2022.

In my capacity as Visitor to the University, I have further approved the immediate appointment of the following:

1. Professor Sunny Adagbonyi as Acting Vice-Chancellor

2. Professor Theo O. Agueda as Acting Deputy Vice- Chancellor, Administration, and

3. Professor Marshall Azeke as Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academics

We thank Professor Osadolor for his service and wish him well in his future endeavors.
