Gov Ododo Approves N50m Monthly Allocation For Gratuity Of LG Pensioners in kogi

Kogi State Governor, Alh Usman Ododo has approved monthly release of N50 million for payment of gratuity to pensioners across local government areas in the state.

The secretary to Kogi State Government, Dr. Folashade Ayoade who disclosed this on Sunday added with the monthly allocation local government pensioners will receive N100,000, N200,000 or N500,000 from their gratuity.

Dr Ayoade stated this in her goodwill message at the thanksgiving programme held in honour of the former Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mathew Kolawole in Kabba.

She added that Governor Ododo has also added N10,000 each to pensioners take home every month.

The SSG added that in a similar vein, Governor Ododo has continued to release the sum of N100 million monthly to pay the gratuity of state pensioners even as their pensions are being paid promptly monthly.
