Governor Mutfwang: A Huge Blessing to Plateau State – Hon. Aisha Aliyu

Aisha Muhammad Aliyu, Special Assistant to the Executive Governor of Plateau State on Media, has commended Governor Caleb Mutfwang’s administration, describing it as a significant blessing to the people of Plateau across various sectors.

Speaking during an interview with our correspondent in Jos, Aliyu praised the Governor’s efforts to transform the state’s economy and restore peace.

“The Governor, who assumed office during a challenging economic period, has been working tirelessly to turn the state’s fortunes around through transparency and agricultural diversification,” she said.

Aliyu emphasized the remarkable peace currently enjoyed in Plateau, crediting the Governor for his proactive efforts in restoring stability.

“Plateau is now the most peaceful state in the country. Our Governor has done a lot to restore peace,” she added.

Inclusive Governance and Youth Empowerment

Aliyu expressed deep gratitude for her appointment as Special Assistant on Media, highlighting the Governor’s commitment to inclusive governance.

“I am overwhelmed with gratitude, joy, and humility. I sincerely thank His Excellency, Barrister Mutfwang, for appointing me as a Special Assistant without considering my young age, gender, or religious background,” Aliyu stated.

She noted that her appointment at just 22 years old, as a female from Jos North LGA, exemplifies the Governor’s progressive and inclusive leadership style.

“Governor Mutfwang is a unifier and team player who runs an administration free of sectionalism, nepotism, and religious differences. His youth-friendly policies have provided unprecedented opportunities for young people in Plateau,” she said.

Commitment to Development

Aliyu reaffirmed her dedication to contributing to the state’s development and working collaboratively to achieve the administration’s goals.

“This appointment is a tremendous honor and privilege. I am committed to bringing my expertise, passion, and dedication to this role and ensuring the success of our administration,” she said.

She also urged citizens to support Governor Mutfwang in his efforts to deliver the dividends of democracy to Plateau State.

“Our Governor is running a people-oriented government, and the people of the state are proud of him. I call on all citizens to join hands with him to ensure the continued progress of our beloved state,” Aliyu concluded.

Governor Caleb Mutfwang’s administration has been lauded for its youth and women empowerment programs, as well as its focus on economic revival and peacebuilding, marking a transformative period in Plateau State’s history.
